Palmer’s Facial Oil and Night Cream

Perhaps known best as a brand for pregnancy, I started to use Palmer’s while pregnant after noticing my skin drying. Over time, it only seemed to get drier so knew I needed a solution (and I found one quickly!). Despite giving birth, Palmer’s products are still part of my skin rejuvenation routine. With this in mind, I wanted to provide a brief overview on both Palmer’s Moisturizing Night Cream and Palmer’s Multi-Effect Perfecting Facial Oil.

Palmer’s Perfecting Facial Oil

In terms of ingredients, you’ll find five main offerings (before the oils) and I’ve broken down their uses below;

•   Vitamin E – Perfect for the prevention of cell oxidation

•   Resveratrol – An antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals

•   Cocoa Butter – A plant extract that adds protection

•   Vitamin C – Aims to brighten tone and complexion

•   Retinol – Fights the signs of aging and increases cell turnover

Of course, the main attraction for many is the number of oils found in the products. In addition to sweet almond oil, it offers apricot seed oil, grape seed oil, sunflower seed oil, rosehip oil, coconut oil, and argan oil. What’s more, all essential vitamins can be absorbed thanks to Cetethomate E complex; this should also keep the skin moisturized.

The facial oil can improve uneven tone, reverse the signs of aging, and reduce the appearance of dark spots. What about the product itself? Well, it comes in a small glass container and the first smell you’ll notice is likely to be argan oil. However, you may also pick up hints of coconut and other ingredients.

Personally, I like to use the product both in the morning and in the night. With four drops, my skin feels moisturized without being too greasy. Of course, you can adjust the schedule to how you feel comfortable. For example, last summer, when applied in the morning, it felt as though it was just sitting on my face so I only applied it in the evening.

Palmer’s Night Cream

I also to use Palmer’s Night Cream to complete my night routine. This contains;

•   Aloe

•   Peptide Complex

•   Retinol

•   Cocoa Butter

•   Shea Butter

•   Vitamin E

As the name suggests, this cream is designed for overnight renewal and fighting the signs of aging. It comes in a thick container and doesn’t have a spatula. The cream is actually quite thick and it has the signature fragrance of Palmer’s.

For around two years, I’ve been using the Facial Oil and Night Cream and couldn’t be happier with the results. With the right schedule, my skin feels moisturized throughout the day and even first thing in the morning (something that has been a problem for many years!). Especially when dealing with acne scars and my dark spots, Palmer’s has played such an important role. There’s no doubt I’ll continue buying these products into the future!

Mamonde Rose Water Gel Cream

I accidentally purchased Mamonde Rose Water Gel Cream; I thought it was intense cream, but when the delivery arrived, I discovered that it was a gel cream. I love gel type skin care products, as they suit my oily skin very well. But it’s winter, my skin tends to get considerably dry, instead of returning the product, I decided to give it a shot.

The raw material of this product is Damask Rose. Beside from perfuming effect, it has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, as well.

The product itself is a transparent pink color, and it has a light silicon texture.

When applied to the skin, it provides a wonderful cooling sensation. I found that it is a bit slippery against the skin when first applied, but my skin absorbs it fast.

With the cold winter air, I was prepared to have to battle dry skin once more, but this product gives my skin enough moisture to keep my skin feeling great and without any sort of sticky-feeling. The only thing I am not fond of is the strong rose scent. It also doesn’t have a spatula, so I feel that it is not hygienic. The product comes in an 80ml container and that’s not bad, right?

Although the rose scent is a bit strong especially when I first open it, Mamonde Rose Water Gel Cream is good for my daily use. I would recommend it.

Have a wonderful day!

Mamonde Micro Cleansing Oil Review

Capacity: 200ml
My Skin Type: Oily skin

I’ve heard and read lots of good reviews about this cleansing oil from Mamonde. I didn’t have any prior experience with an oil cleanser, so I bought one for myself to try it out. Here’s my review about Mamonde Micro Cleansing Oil.

I will start with the main ingredient; a lotus flower. Lotus flower is rich in antioxidant and has a purifying mechanism. This is highly beneficial for the cleansing power of the cleansing oil.

All ingredients: Glyceryl cocoate, dipropylene glycol, phage-20 glyceryl triisostearate, dicaprylyl carbonate, phage-15 glyceryl isostearate, phage-6 glyceryl cocoate, Caprylic / capric triglyceride, propanediol, butylene glycol, tocopherol, lotus extract, soybean oil, lotus embryo extract, rosehip flower oil, oranges such as caprylic / capric glyceride, isopropyl palmitate, Oils, lavender oil, 1,2-hexanediol, ethylhexyl glycerin, disodium edetate

The pump bottle feels good; it’s not just cheap or flimsy plastic, it is a good quality plastic that feels sturdy and strong.

The texture of the oil itself is very thin. The smell is really fantastic; I want to smell like this forever!

I’ve been using Mamonde Micro Cleansing Oil for 2 months now, and I have found that it works for me. My skin looks radiant, and I feel so clean. In addition to this, my face feels tightened after using the cleansing oil.

Will I this cleansing oil again? To consider the things I love about Mamonde’s cleansing oil, I love the smell, and it works great for removing makeup and oil. However, I prefer to use cleansing foam instead of cleansing oil. That’s my reference. Regardless, Mamonde Micro Cleansing Oil is a good product, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is hoping to try out a new cleansing oil product.

Have a great day!
